The “Synchroni-city” series, entirely executed in Asia (2007-09), deals with the complex synchronicity of space and time in urban spaces, resulting in photo-montaged renditions of crowded yet anonymous urban landscapes. These images explore the relationship between alternate modes of capture and arrangement, as the images are taken with cameras coupled to digital programmes which reflect an expanded definition of photography. Patterns of walking, geometries of living, people, crowds, moving, time and place expand/collapse.
